Abstract
Information systems play a role for an organization is no exception to The Department of Mines and Energy of South Sumatera Province. Implementation of the promotion is done well, regularly and properly and support a good information system will be a useful source of data for the system of promotion. So the system is done optimally will be very useful to the government agencies. Rank Promotion classified as follows : Employees, Staff Officer, Direct Supervisors (Acting Assessor), Tops officials Appraisers, Kasub Officer, Secretary of the Department, Head of Department and BKD. To continue the promotion of employees should reach SKP (Target Employee Work), SKP assessment, PFM Assessment (Employee Work Behavior) with the specified time for 1 (one) year, used a prerequisite for the promotion of Civil Servants. Prototype system development methods used, the information system was created using programming languages PHP version 8 and MySQL database.
