Abstract

This study aims to see the description of commitment in organizing students of Quran Recitation Development Institute and Da'wah UIN Raden Fatah Palembang and any factors that affect the commitment in organizing students of the Institute for the Development of Quran Recitation and Da'wah UIN Raden Fatah Palembang. The type of research in this study is qualitative descriptive, the number of subjects as many as 4 people taken by purposive sampling technique. Based on the results of the research picture as follows: First, Affective commitment that is the subject of comfort while in LPTQ & D, quite actively proven by following the activities that exist, the subject felt many benefits. Secondly, the normative commitment of the subject feels guilty if negligent of responsibility and can not help. Subjects contribute by teaching, doing what is ordered and petrified when there is an event. Third, the continuous commitment of the subject requires the organization to meet the needs of religious, communication and socialization and also the subject to get many friends and positive environmental influences. Factors that affect the commitment in organizing students LPTQ & D religious knowledge and community science that is not obtained in college.
