Abstract
Fleas rice (Sitophilus oryzae L.) is one pest in the rice storage warehouses.While, Pandan wangi leave (Pandanus amaryllifolius Roxb) contain essential oils, alkaloids, saponins, flavonoids, tannins, polyphenols, and pigment, so it can be used as a rice pest infestation repellent. The purpose of this research is to findout aboutefektiveness of the P. amaryllifolius Roxb leaf powder as a repellent S. oryzae L. The method used in this research is experimental method with pattern Complete Random Design (RAL) consists of two factors are many pandan wangi’s leaf powder used and time application, and do 4 replications. Methods of data collection was calculate the percentage of repellent by P. amaryllifolius Roxb leaf’s powder toS. oryzae L. The results of this research is indicate award P. amaryllifolius Roxb leaf powder in a variety of treatment and long application significantly affect the percentage repellent of S. oryzae L. The results ware obtain that the more the concentrations used the higher the percentage of rejection. Average highest percentage repellent against S. oryzae L is P. amaryllifolius Roxb leaf powder 70 grams treatment at 100 grams of rice is 56,25 % and the effective application of the old on average at 48 hours of treatment. So the supply of P.amarillifolius Roxb leaf powder effectively as a repellent fleas rice (S. oryzae L).
